Description
This design-oriented client and art collector wanted to provide patients more than just a chiropractic appointment. The aim was to offer an experience and design divergent from a standard doctor's office where the space can be cold and soulless.
WAO used colour to provide a strong contrast between the different functions of the office space. The waiting room and office entry in green, washrooms and kitchenette in pink, and private washrooms in black. Attention to detail, such as brass hardware used to highlight dark green and the white oak wood and a gently curved corridor, also add warmth to the space creating an atmosphere that feels considered and design-forward rather than clinical.
This space is, above all, a place of care for the body.
