Description
Layers of motif, materials and magic bought this grand estate on Sydney’s north shore into the “now” with a complete, meticulous renovation employing master craftspeople fluent in the language of the architecture. Each room of the Georgian beauty was expertly renovated to revive the home with nostalgic glamour: from bathroom to billiard room, from library to living room. A cinematic flight of fresh ideas, a global mix of treasures and historic form were bought together to fizzing effect.
During the day, the sitting room sings with hues of purple and orange and there is a genuine sense of comfort in the room. In the evening, the ceiling comes alive with reflections from the Murano glass chandelier, each leaf illuminating the next.
In the master suite, textural pink grasscloth is paired with custom patterned purple carpet, bold timber grains and strong accent colours. The intention is for the bedroom to be visually uplifting, with a freshness that puts a smile on your face each morning.
