Designed by award-winning architecture and design studio VIA Architects, this exceptional space introduces an innovative approach to seniors living, fostering a vibrant, intergenerational environment that sets a new benchmark for lifestyle-led retirement living.
A SPACE FOR MOVEMENT AND A RETREAT FOR RELAXATION
Designed for movement, relaxation and social interaction, the light and airy wellness centre features a state-of-the-art gym, Reformer Pilates studio and a family-friendly pool, encouraging daily movement as a priority. A luxurious spa with private treatment rooms further enhances the retreat-like experience, offering a serene sanctuary for rejuvenation.
“The wellness centre stands as a pivotal amenity, empowering residents to maintain an active lifestyle, partake in leisure activities and indulge in pampering experiences," said VIA Architects' Managing Director, Frank Bambino.
MISS LUCY CAFE: A WELCOMING SOCIAL HUB
More than just a café, Miss Lucy serves as a central gathering place, offering high-quality coffee, a nutritious menu, private dining and a providore in a warm, inviting space, where residents and the broader community can connect and engage.
“With the integration of Miss Lucy café, we’ve not only designed a space for premium dining, but also one that fosters broader community integration through its street-fronting entrance,” Bambino explained.

As part of the multi-award-winning Pavilions Blackburn Lake, this wellness centre and café exemplify a lifestyle-driven, design-forward approach. VIA Architects has crafted a space where people of all generations can connect, elevating the standard of seniors living in Australia through considered architecture and premium amenities.
“From my recent global study tours, creating communities that encourage active lifestyles emerged as a central theme, highlighting the need to support activities that contribute to improved wellbeing,” Bambino emphasised.
“A focus on the culinary experience demonstrated that premium food and beverage offerings are integral components of enhancing the resident experience,” he added.
