A house to meet, the encounter in its multiple perspectives.
The house was commissioned by a leading speaker and trainer in market leadership and trading. The idea was to build a retreat to receive groups of students for longer training, immersions outside the city.
The site chosen, located in the Serra da Moda Sanctuary in Minas Gerais, about an hour from Belo Horizonte, is a paradise in the middle of the cerrado. There are ten thousand square meters on the slope of the mountain with a beautiful view of the valley.
We thought of the implantation of the house as a journey of discovery. To reach the entrance to the land, we climb a long path always with our backs to the valley, so when entering the land, we create a wall that hides the view, which is only revealed when opening the door of the house.
We enter the house on a raised landing, and a small grandstand welcomes the students, creating a space to admire the landscape.
The house was designed to accommodate up to 16 students, but designed to be built in stages, the first for 4 users, then a second block for 8 more, and then 04 more people.
We designed a mixed structure building. Structural concrete walls are always in the direction of the topography, pillars in metallic structure help to support a large coverage in glued laminated wood.
The large social space of the house is the ideal meeting point, be it the meeting with the other participants, or the meeting with yourself, whether in the conversations played out at the large dining table, or listening to a lecture sitting in the stands, or alone, enjoying the view and nature sitting on a second bleacher that goes down to the pool deck.

A casa foi uma encomenda de um importante palestrante e instrutor de liderança e negociação do mercado. A ideia era construir um retiro para receber grupos de alunos para treinamentos mais longos, imersões fora da cidade.
O terreno escolhido, localizado no santuário da serra da moeda em Minas Gerais, a cerca de uma hora de Belo Horizonte, é um paraíso em meio ao cerrado. São dez mil metros quadrados na encosta da serra com uma bela vista do vale.
Pensamos a implantação da casa como um percurso de descoberta. Para chegar à entrada do terreno subimos um longo percurso sempre de costas para o vale, assim ao entrar no terreno, criamos um muro que encobre a vista, que só é desvendada ao se abrir a porta da casa.
Entramos na casa em um patamar elevado, e uma pequena arquibancada de boa vinda ao alunos cria um espaço para se admirar a paisagem.
A casa foi projetada para receber até 16 alunos, mas pensada para ser construída em etapas sendo a primeira para 4 usuários, depois um segundo bloco para mais 8, e depois mais 04 pessoas.
Projetamos uma edificação de estrutura mista. Paredes estruturais de concreto estão sempre no sentido da topografia, pilares em estrutura metálica ajudam a apoiar uma grande cobertura em madeira laminada colada.
O grande espaço social da casa é o ponto ideal para o encontro, seja o encontro com os outros participantes, ou o encontro consigo mesmo, seja nas conversas jogadas fora na grande mesa de jantar, seja ouvindo uma palestra sentado na arquibancada, seja sozinho, apreciando a vista e a natureza sentado em uma segunda arquibancada que desce para o deck da piscina.
