We demolished walls between the facade and courtyard to create an open, light-filled area ideal for entertaining. The kitchen is now the focal point, designed with just two colourways to emphasise texture and contrast, solids and voids. Previously tucked behind a blade wall, the kitchen was opened up to seamlessly integrate with the open-plan living and dining area. It was designed to resemble a beautiful piece of furniture, featuring a decorative face design on the overhead cupboards carved into the MDF and sitting adjacent to the aged bronze rangehood cover. Previously tucked behind a blade wall, the kitchen was opened up to seamlessly integrate with the open-plan living and dining area. It was designed to resemble a beautiful piece of furniture, featuring a decorative face design on the overhead cupboards carved into the MDF and sitting adjacent to the aged bronze rangehood cover. 44. Kitchen / Woollahra

The key change in this renovation was relocating the kitchen from an internal space to a prime position overlooking the back courtyard. We demolished walls between the facade and courtyard to create an open, light-filled area ideal for entertaining. The kitchen is now the focal point, designed with just two colourways to emphasise texture and contrast, solids and voids. Previously tucked behind a blade wall, the kitchen was opened up to seamlessly integrate with the open-plan living and dining area. It was designed to resemble a beautiful piece of furniture, featuring a decorative face design on the overhead cupboards carved into the MDF and sitting adjacent to the aged bronze rangehood cover.
