Description
Maddie is a two-storey extension to an existing Victorian terrace house located in Richmond, Melbourne. The house design respectfully responds to the sites heritage overlays whilst sensitively engaging with its surroundings. We took inspiration from the existing heritage façade and repurposed the original brick into the new extension. The design aim was to maximise natural light and space by gaining greater connection to the outdoors.
