Description

Restoration and reduction through a full gut renovation of a Landmarked Townhouse in Park Slope Brooklyn. The single family home is planned with a triptych section, elevated by the height of the front stoop; the garden level for guests, studying, utility and play; the top floor for dwelling, with private bedrooms and baths; and between, the parlor level is a single space, all partitions and secondary structure removed, a monumental space for living, cooking, dining, moving in and out and up and down, with the entire rear facade an operable accordian door system opening to a balcony overlooking the rear yard. While open inside and out to the back, the front facade is restored to its original condition.
